Apple Butter in Crock-Pot 

Apple butter is simply applesauce that has been condensed and smoothened. It’s cooked for longer, giving it a deep apple flavor and caramelized color. However, the components are essentially identical.

Ingredient List

  • 6 lb. of mixed apples, peeled and sliced
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup of sugar, granulated
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon of grounded nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cloves
  • ½ teaspoon of kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of grounded ginger

Directions for Cooking

In a crockpot bowl, toss the ingredients altogether. Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours, or until the apples have become a deep golden color and are breaking apart.

After cooking, blend the apples in an immersion or normal blender until smooth. If you’re using a conventional blender, take a break every now to lift the lid and let the steam out.

Fill jars halfway with apple butter and place them in the refrigerator to chill. Refrigerate after covering with plastic wrap. You can preserve it for 3 months to a year. So, enjoy it anytime!

Slow-Cooker Sausage & Peppers

Well, this is one of the most palatable meals we all know! This is prepared with mouth-watering sausages along with spices. 

You might be thinking how stressful this recipe would be! Well, this is actually quite an easy one. So let’s jump in without any further due!

Ingredient List

  • 1 28-oz. can tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 large onion, sliced into half-moons
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced thinly
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper, freshly grounded 
  • 1 tablespoon of thinly sliced basil 
  • 6 toasted hoagie rolls

Directions for Cooking

In the slow cooker, combine smashed tomatoes, oregano, red pepper flakes, and olive oil. Combine the onion, bell peppers, and Italian sausage in a crockpot. Sprinkle salt and pepper as per your taste. Cook on low for 6 hours.

Combine the cooked sausage and peppers with the basil. On toasted hoagie bread, serve warm and enjoy!

Crock-Pot Buffalo Chicken Dip

One of those dishes is Crock-pot buffalo chicken dip. It’s basically chicken wings with buffalo flavors!

  • 1 shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 3 blocks of cream cheese
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar
  • ¾ cup of buffalo sauce
  • ½ cup of ranch dressing

  • Chives, freshly chopped 
  • Baguette, Sliced
  • Celery sticks

Directions for Cooking

Combine the chicken, cheddar, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch in a large slow cooker.

Cook on low for 3 hours. You can also continue cooking until everything is melted and warmed through.

When ready to serve, top with blue cheese and chives. Finally, serve with dippers and enjoy the dish!

Ingredient List

  • 1 small beef chuck roast which is about 3 to 4 lbs
  • 1 diced large onion
  • 4 chopped cloves garlic
  • 3 limes, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of grounded cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 4 cups of low sodium chicken broth
  • 20 small corn tortillas
  • Sour cream, red onion, green onions, and lime wedges 

Direction for Cooking

Combine the chuck roast, garlic, onion, chili powder, lime juice, oregano, and cumin. In a 5-quart slow cooker, put them all together. After that, add the chicken broth. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Add the roast and onion to a large mixing basin and shred with two forks when ready. Pour enough juice over it to make it marinade well.

Serve with green onions, sour cream, limes, and chopped red onion. Char tortillas over a gas burner and top it with the beef. Finally, enjoy the meal.
