Writing from Marbella, 'the place where the siesta started'... Will be taking a family trip to LA this summer and this article definitely made me want to visit the Weiser Farm stand and taste some of their products...

I love getting the Weiser Family Farm email in my box telling me what's in season and coming to the market. I especially love those crisp, sweet carrots of orange and purple and the delicate, soft texture of their potatoes. Alejandro Papas is my favorite potato guy around!

Thanks for the feedback, Jeff. Sounds like you're mind and heart are in the right place for starting a farm and farmers market community. Good luck!

I listen to KCRW's Good Food podcast when it is out and find myself extremely jealous of the farmer's markets over there. So much better than anything remotely close to what we have. Makes me want to jump a plane with an empty suitcase and come back with everything I can get my hands on.

Great interview and being someone who is trying to draw up a plan to start a farm I am really happy to hear a good success story.
