My grandma made it for us, then my mother, and now I too am a member of the rugelach club. We use apricot jam instead of strawberry but I can imagine this is quite delicious. During my nephews briss, while everyone was noshing on cold cuts, I think I polished off an entire batch myself. I tried to hock it, but lucky for me they didn't know what they were missing. Most recipes I've tried are too sweet or too sticky (from the jam). This recipe created such a delicious and moist pastry dough with just the right balance of sweet and cinnamon spicy.
