But if you can get one that's motorized (an attachment to a mixer), they're great! It's hard to feed the pasta in, feed it out and crank at the same time. It's not really a one-person job unless the pasta maker is cranking itself. But oh man is fresh pasta good! The hand-crank pasta makers are good.
